Setup Email Account on Outlook 2010 Print

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. Click on the menu tab Tools and select Account Settings from the drop down list.
  3. On the Account Settings pop up window, select the E-mail tab and click on New below.
  4. Select the option Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click on Next.
  5. At the bottom of the pop up window select the option Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click on Next.
  6. Select the option Internet E-mail and click on Next.
  7. Fill in the following information:
    • Your Name: the associated name for the email address you are configuring
    • Email Address: The email address you are configuring
    • Account Type: IMAP
    • Incoming mail server: ano.altokom.net
    • Outgoing server (SMTP): ano.altokom.net
    • Username: the email address you are configuring
    • Password: password associated with the email account
  8. Click on More Settings.
  9. Select the Outgoing Server tab.
  10. Check My outging server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  11. Select the Advanced tab.
  12. Change the port of the Incoming server to 993 and select the option This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
  13. Change the port of the Outgoing server (SMTP) to 465 and select the option Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL.
  14. Click Ok at the bottom of the pop up window.
  15. Click on Test Account Settings to confirm that the account is able to send and receive mail.
  16. Click on Next.
  17. Click on Finish.
