Before you can reset the password for your email account, you will need to setup a Backup Email Address. If you have forgotten your password and do not yet have a backup email address set for your email account, inform your email administrator for further assistance.
Setup Backup Email Address
- Log in to your email account via the webmail interface http://webmail.domainname.com
- From the left menu bar, click Settings.
- Expand the My Settings folder.
- Click on Account Settings.
- Under the User tab enter a backup address in the Backup Email Address text box.
- Save
Reset your email password
- Go to the webmail interface http://webmail.domainname.com
- Click the Forgot your Password? link.
- Enter the full email address of your email account.
- Type the text shown in the verification box.
- Click on Ok.
The password reset email will be sent to the Backup Email Address you specified for your email account. Follow the instruction found in the email to reset your password.
